Latin dance came to the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts' Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre Tues. 12 January with City Dance Corps.
The regular noon audience and students flooded the sun drenched Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre on the second level and waited for took in three short city Dance Corps performances by Estelle and Jerome and Shawn and Lisa.
Tina and Estelle choreographed Face to Black set to Apocalyptica.
Tina choreographed Table Talk set to Electrotango which projected the whats and hows the perfect couple tries to depict.
The audience had a treat with a little peek of A Night at the Palladium with some music from the Fania All Stars. It was a shout out to New York City's Palladium, the legendary 1940s epicentre of Mambo and later, Salsa.
The City Dance Corps performers then gave an intro salsa lesson on what turned out to be a very good dance floor.
Downtowners who have time over lunch can treat themselves to the COC's Free Concert Series to experience all genres of music and some dance.
